scared, not sure what to do, doctors want to remove it, i want to keep it..

A couple of weeks ago I was in a lot of discomfort in the middle of  my stomach. it felt like a very large amount of built up gas. my stomach was also making a lot of weird sounds and  if i moved in anyway my stomach would hurt for a few moments ( in the middle somewhat upper part and no pain anywhere else) but once i laid still it would stop and this lasted ALL day but the next day i was okay. the next few days after I was okay too but I had A LOT of gas and my stomach was always making lots of bubbly sounds and felt acidly.. So I thought I might of had some kind of ulcer.  I went to the doctors and they gave me prilosec and metoclopram ( i only took metoclopram for a week tho )  (i'm also now taking align for digestive care)  since then I haven't been having any problems. If i get any kind of acid feeling I take a tums and it goes away.

I had to have a CT on my neck when all of this was happening so I had them do one my abdomen while i was there and  I found out that i have gallstones..  I saw a surgeon and explained to him the problems I was having. He said it could be that my stomach is making too much acid but he also said i should have my gallbladder removed because i have stones. Now today I saw a different surgeon for a different reason but my mom brought up my gallstones with him and he has order a HIDA scan on me. because he to is saying it needs to come out because of the stones and my age. I am 21 years old so I am still very young and he says this is so  i don't have complications down the road.  I go in for the HIDA scan this friday. I also have appointment with an upper GI to have endoscopy on OCT 14.

I really don't want to have it removed. i've done a lot of research on life without a gallbladder and it isn't pretty and it seems like some people are worse off after having it removed.. and one of my biggest concerns is that i'm not having any problems right now AND what if what I did experience wasn't even do to my gallstones? and  what if i get it removed and start having problems?! that would really upset me.

so my question is, if my HIDA test come back good, do I REALLY need to have my gallbladder removed or are there other options for me?

which test is better to have done  for the gallbladder HIDA scan or endoscopy ?

should I keep my appointment with the GI for oct 14 or does that kind of depend on my HIDA test reuslts?

can they find out other things from a HIDA scan? or do I need both test?

what if my problem wasn't due to my gallstones? would i still need it out? are there other options?

what kind of questions  should i be asking the doctors and surgeons?

I would at least try a home remedy... my dad cleans out his gallbladder once a year by drinking extra virgin olive oil mixed with some other things... I'll let you know what he takes... and you drink it before bed... and he said to make sure and be by a toilet in the morning. haha. b/c it all comes out... and they do look like stones!

So you could try this!? If you are interested in the natural drink ingredients, Private Message me... and I'll ask my dad tomorrow.

I may try it myself b/c I'm having digestion issues... either too much acid... or IBS... but I dont know why... could be due to anxiety... but it cant hurt for me to try this too?
