scars

I had my gallbladder out about 5 months ago.  I had some raised tender itchy scars that never went away.  I became pregnant immediately after surgery and thought maybe the stretching had done it.  The obgyn told me to watch for bruising and told me a medical name for them.  (might be keloids, not sure) However, she said it was not a sign of infection, but a sign of possible infection, which, with being pregnant, needed to be takin care of.  Well I had a bruise appear last night, and was going to go today, but when i got in the shower, I looked and the bruise was gone.  Is this still a problem?
