I have been diagnosed after endoscopy last week with "short segment Barret's EsophagusBarrett’s esophagus Esophageal cancer Esophageal perforation Esophagitis Esophagus Esophagus and stomach anatomy. I do not have a doctors appointment until September 6th and this is about the only thing that I can remember from what the doctor told me after the procedure due to the medication. Does anyone know the short segment means? Does it get treated differently? Thank you.
