Are you thinking it's the CO2 gas used during surgery that's causing the shoulder pain?  Like when you stand up after surgery and your arms about blow off?  By now, it should be completely absorbed and out of your system.  I'm more concerned that you have something else going on.  You also might be just throwing too much food at your stomach too soon.  The entire gastro system goes into revolt after any surgery, and a nissen's is a big operation.  It may not look like it from the outside, but a whole lot of changes happened inside that are still healing.  Back off solid food for a while and go with a bland diet, or even better, liquids like broths and jello for a couple days and see what happens.  Either way, I think you should speak with your surgeon.

Thank you for the reply, it is starting to dissipate but it is a killer. a bland diet gives me gas to and then it goes right into the shoulder. I think You are right I am throwing to much food a my stomach. gas x helps a bit but movement seems to help the most. I have called my surgeon and she don’t seem to concerned. again thank you!
