smell change of feces

I have noticed in the last few weeks that my feces smell has changed. It never used to have a strong odor. Now it smells kind of like urine does after eating Asparagus??? I was on a course of antibiotics recently. I have been taking probiotics as well.

Have you seen a Gastro Doc?  You might want to have him send you to a lab and get your stools checked.  On Friday I just got my results back from the Doc and I have been diagnosed with a stomach bacteria called CDF (C-Dif).  This stomach bacteria is caused by taking to many penicillin's over the years for common colds etc.  

On a short note, I have the very same thing going on with my stools.  They will smell horrible when carrying a stomach bacteria.  I also posted a blog on Dec 9th that starts with H pylori and C-Dif complications if your interested in reading a short story about what I had gone through in 2007.

Have the Doc check you for H Pylori also.  I was diagnosed with that stomach bacteria in 2007.  These two stomach bacterias from what I have been told by my doctor can be deadly.  I have also read several articles about the two bacterias and the articles also say they can be deadly.
