smelly burps!

please help! this just started a day ago. when i burp it has this disgusting vomit/egg smell. it truly is disturbing. i've been sick the last day and i think it may be food poisoning after i researched online. but i'm sure burping smell as nothing to do with food poisoning. can someone please help me figure this out? thanks.

Burping that smells/tastes like eggs is no fun. I have had that a few times as well. I'm not sure of the cause, but it often accompanies being ill. It will probably go away on its own, if it hasn't already, but Pepto Bismol helps a lot. Hope you feel better!
