Ok, I don't mean to get nasty personal, but I think I have to to get some answers. First off, I haven't found a link or trigger yet for this but I get this really bad sour stomach and heartburn with gas and nasty, acidic, rotten egg smelling burps. This will usually last one to three days, then the diarreah sets in. During the first day or two, my stools will be normal but with a greenish tint, but smell really, really bad, like outhouses in the heat for a few days. I'm not saying they don't usually smell, but not bad like this. This all sounds so gross, but I really need help with figuring out what this is, should I worry, and how to get rid of it. I try to eat a lot of bread during this time, thinking it will help soak up whatever acid is in my stomach. It does go away on its own after a few days, but if I can shorten that torture, I will try whatever. Pepto does not work, Tums, rolaids, other antacids do not work, and sometimes seem to make it worse. I'm a 30 year old mother of three, have some moderate health issues regarding my brain and heart. I do get pretty bad heartburn, have dysphagia, and occasional esophageal spasms, which seldom occur during these episodes. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
well nicole sounds pretty serious... how long has this been goin on...i ask because i had salmanilla similar symptoms...especially the eg burps and the green stool, if your eating anything blue or purple in color it can cause green stool, i wouldnt reccomend any more antacid....i am in pre-med to become a DO, if this persists you might try smoking some marijuana...maybe against your morals but it could help any pain associated ...maybe try clear gatorade and bread like you have been doing sorry i cant help more...write back
