stomach pain appendicits?

for the past few months every so often i get a sharp pain under my belly button approx 2" diagnal from the center of my belly button. pain comes and goes away for weeks/months.
I have it today, sharp pain, since this morning, alittle nausecious nothing i would normally be concerned with except for the stomach pain.
i did some heavy lifting over the weekend and lift my 90 pounds dog daily , maybe i pulled something or would anyone think it is more serious like appendicitis?

thank you!

i have absolutely no loss of appetite, just had 2 lunches, not sure if the loss of appetite is a huge symptom of appendicitis?

My son had which sounds like the exact experience as you a couple of years back.  Turned out he had a hernia!   I suspected appendix, I had mine out after they had been grumbling for some time.   With you mentioning the 90lb dog I would be getting this checked out just in case.  No matter what, stomach pain is not something to mess with. Go see doctor and go see doctor again if you already have.
