stomach pain

Since Monday my fiance has been vomiting, he cant even take a sip of water and hold it down. He has no insurance so he refuses to see a doctor, he has no fever and no other pains.........after vomiting he shakes vigurously im guessing becauses hes cold....i just dont know whats wrong or what to do....anything would help thanx

possible ulcer, could be food poisioning or just a bug but.... really should go in and see a doctor, usually if it's serious it won't get better they usually get worse, esp. if it's a h. ploryi virus caused ulcer.

There are other causes for pain/nausea/vomiting.  Another big one would be pancreaitis caused by alchohol or drugs (like too much tylenol can do it) and a simple blood test would confirm acute pancreatitis.. but if you wait to test too long the test is not accurate at all with chronic pancreatitis.  Sounds more like pancreatitis to me.  Can get very dangerous esp. if he's drinking at all.  Usually you want to avoid all alchohol to stop the pain and nausea but sometimes it' takes meds/digestive enzymes to give the pancrease a break.

Those are the two big one that come to mind, ulcer or acute pancreatitis..usually ulcer doesn't cause you to vomit as much as pancreatitis does.  I'd get him to a doctor honestly, but I know how us dorky guys are.  Ulcers can bleed out and pancreatitis is nothing to mess around with...

hopefully it's just a bug though but if it persists it's doctor time I think...
