stomach spasm

by nilin, Mar 12, 2009 12:48PM
I have taken Nexium for quite a few years but my insurance will no longer cover it.  I will be taking another medication to replace.  Before Nexium I used to have stomach spasms occasionally which were very painful and lasted for at least a half hour.  I actually went to the ER twice thinking it was a heart attack.  Some years ago I was prescribed a medication for the spasms that I put under my tongue to dissolve.  I cannot remember what it was.  Perhaps you can help me.  I am worried that the medicine that is replacing Nexium will not work against these spasms.
Thank you so much.
