stomach ulcers/gastritis question.......

by smiles4ever, Jul 06, 2002 12:00AM
i have been on meds for the past two and a half months after i was diagnosed with stomach ulcers and gastritis.  the thing is, i should be completely healed by now, but im still experiencing the same burning, gnawing pain that can be temporarily relived by eating.  i'm wondering if, in fact, my ulcers could be healed, but gastritis takes alot longer to heal, and thats why i'm still experiencing these symptoms.  any ideas?

I've got mild gastritis and it been 6 months.
5 of those months I've been on and off meds (Lansoprazole and Zantac).

From what I've read and am experiencing don't expect a rapid recovery, stomach problems seem to take a long time to heal.
