stool in white little pieces

by Lubitza, Apr 19, 2007 12:00AM
My 12 year old daughter is having some cramping and has had 2 white stools that look like 1 inch little pieces of paper and 1 with clumps of mucas.  Since, she has had what looks like aregular stool.  Should she see a doctor?

Generally a white or grayish stool is a sign of a buildup of white blood cells, possibly from an infection of sorts.

Might want to check with your doctor and have them run some blood tests just to be sure she doesn't have an infection somewhere. They may also want to run some fecal tests as well.
