sudden bloating after visit

by landon1970, Nov 28, 2008 12:34PM
I am a 40 year old male (bad speller!). 5'9" tall 175lbs. Work out. decent diet. I have had no ongoing health problems or medicines until a couple weeks ago. I was working outside bending over, my back was sore for a couple weeks it stared getting better then i felt it catch, so I went to a chiropractor my wife had gone to. He adjusted my lower back by the twiste and jerk kind of way. It was pretty forceful but it poped both times and assumed that did the trick. So far it (My back) is feeling better.
The problem is as soon as I was home my stomach started poping and making noises. I didnt feel too good but ate dinner. That night I tossed and turned and ended up very bloated, I finally vomited, but couldnt have a bowl movement so thought i was just constipated. I took off work the next day and had some milk of magnisia and had a bowl movement. To make a long story shorter, this keeps going on. I went to the emergency room to see if they could find anything, since i am not getting sleep, light headed and dizzy. They suggested and my age i will start having theese problems and said i may have esophageal spasm or stomach reflux and gave me some zantac.
My question is what could my chiropractic adjustment activated or done cause this to start. I dont believe it is just coincidence this started imediatley after my visit considering I have had no problems for 40 years. Help and thanks!
