surgical clips

I had an operation which removed cancerous lymph nodes near  my bladder. A recent pet-scan has a comment that there are some surgical clips in my pelvis. Is this a common thing or do I need to have them removed?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  This is completely normal and common.  You do not need to have them removed unless they are causing problems (which is rare).
