swallowing shoulder pain

I have been dealing with many different health and pain issues. Recently I started having sudden onset deep shoulder pain. I realized that my shoulder pain occurs everytime I eat, when the food reaches a certain area as it is going down. It is far down in my esaphogus when this occurs. There are also times that my food does not want to go down all the way and it takes a little time. What are your thoughts on this?

I think that is stomach obstruction.

In the mean time you can try a GERD-friendly diet which means eliminating acidic fruit or juices, fatty foods, coffee, tea, onions, peppermint, and chocolate.

Thank you so much for your input. I am planning on making an appointment with a gasterologist. Please let me know if you have anymore thoughts.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I think that this could be GERD/acid reflux.  I would recommend that you see your doctor about this to get it checked out.
