symptoms after gallbladder surgery

my husband had his gallbladder removed about a year and a half . he always has pain especially on the insicion site. I  find that kind of odd? why do u think that he has so much discomfort?

It could be a continuation of the problem with his gallbladder. If he had stones or sludge, please make sure the doc checks to see if any of the particulte matter could have escaped during surgery and gotten into the common bile duct to cause problems. It's also possible he could be having problems digesting fats. Some people are not able to handle fats the same way after surgery and may need to follow a low fat diet.

Also make sure the doc checks your husband's liver and pancreatic enzyme levels.
