symptoms of nor virus

what are the symptoms of nor virus?  is it running around calif now?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  The symptoms of norovirus are the symptoms of gastroenteritis.  These include stomach, pain, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.  I don't believe it is running around california now.

also had extreme chills lasting 4 + hours.  vomiting immediately following eating ... had been neauseated slightly all day  started suddenly with vomiting followed by other symptoms.  very little diarrhea.  next morning almost normal, just fatique from being awake most of the night.  probably most significant was the long lasting chills and shivering with 4 blankets.  no temp.

It is more likely you just got a regular stomach bug.  Why did you think you had norovirus?

thught it was noro because of the intense, fast onset of vomiting, chills, diarhea (diarrhea) and short lived symptoms.  about 12 hours and then just felt tired, weak, fatique ... had noro once before and went to ER and thought this seemed exactly the same pretty much.
