thin stools

Hi.  I am in pain management due to arthritis in my back and a slipped vertebrae.  Currently I am on Oxycodone, 10 mg a day.  I have had several episodes of constipation, which I know can be caused by the drug.  This past week, I was constipated and took Miralax, like I do when this happens.  A few days ago I ended up in the ER due to pain in lower groin area and left lower side.  They did a work up...ultrasound, xray, blood and urine test ( I just got over a bladder infection).  However, they did not do a ct of the colon.  My pcp ordered one, the next day, stat.  I am waiting for the results.  Now, I am noticing thin stools and pain in my side.  3 years ago I had a sigmoid colon resection and am scared as I don't want to go through that hell again!  Could constipation cause this?  Thanks.

Check your diet.  Check the chemicals is Miralax.  Start taking natural supplements for bowels.  Go back to fresh fruit/vegatbles diet with no added chemicals.  Pysllium husk.  Slippery Elm, Wheat grass, chamomile for anxiety.
