tightness after gallbladder removal

I am 29 years old, I had my gallbladder removed early March. I didn't have stones just my hida scan came back that it was functioning at 3%...I just had slight pain nothing severe and it just felt like something was there.. The surgery was a breeze just took a week or 2 to get to feeling up to doing anything, very tired...I went back to work after 10 days and started back full force standing on feet 8 hrs a day for 40 hrs a week.. I have a feeling of tightness or feeling of something there in my right upper abdomen, on the right side and into the back area.. I am having no pain and just wondered if this could be my insides still healing or possibly gas.. I really don't want to go back to the doc... had enough of them for awhile.. I am just ready to be fully recovered so my husband and I can start a family.. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I am 25, and had mine removed October 30th 2008, for the same exact reason actually, no stones, HIDA scan revealed my gall bladder was functioning at only 3%, that is very odd, you are the first person I have heard a similar story from. The odd thing is when I was ill I had pain in my lower right abdomen, and it wasn't until after the removal that I had "phantom" pain and tightness in the right upper abdomen, gall bladder region. I was told by my surgeon that this was normal, so as long as you don't have extreme pain, you should be just fine.
