i have been trying to get onto the support board for 2 days and can't get on. i was hoping maybe you may check this board once in awhile.  spoke with the doctor today and he said he would refer her to hospice and she and i had to sign the papers. the doctor doesn't think she will live more than a week since she hasn't been eating. we are now just at the care and comfort stage. i am consumed with such saddness and question if it was the right thing to do. the doctor assured me it was. my mom has a white rash all over her body. what is that? i hope all is going better for you and everyone else on the other board. you're all still in my prayers. thanks again for all your support.

I was wondering where you had been and how you're doing. I wonder what the problem with the board is!
You should give it another try (if you can't get on, maybe enter as a "guest", or even make up another nickname to get in there), because I know you've got some responses there that you might want to read.

I took a look at it, and it answers alot of questions and gives some pretty good advice. You may want to take a look.

I'll take a look around and see if I can find anything about a white rash. I honestly don't know what that is.
I have read about "mottling" (light and dark marks on skin), but I'm not sure if that's what you're describing.
