since I started on I.caps for macular

Tongue tie
has become sore and red. Could it be the vitamin. I take 2 a day and weigh 89 lbs

Yes it could very well be the vitamin.
Do you take any other multi vitamin along with the Icaps? It is not recommended that you do and could promote a vitamin overdose that would account for the
tongue
Tongue tie
issue.
The black stools should be investigated. While iron does produce black stools, part of the negative side affects of Icaps is
bloody
Bloody or tarry stools
diarrhea. An occult blood test would reveal which.
I would not stop the vitamin without letting my doctor be aware of these side affects, but I would definitely not wait either.
Just my thoughts...
