I have had pain in my lower right abdominal since 8-29-11 been to the ER twice now. Nothing found everything was clean and looking good. I have had a cold this whole time. Cant take my meds I always throw them up. can only keep liquid in. I have now loss 13 pounds. But no fever. This pain is so bad it makes it hard to stand up straight at all. I have passed out once with this issues. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. I can't deal with this much longer. I have had my gallbladder out and a C-section which got infected and had to be redone. Please anything at this point will help.

You definitely need to get in to see your regular doctor ASAP.  This has been going on too long and with teh weight loss and inability to eat solid foods, the cause needs to be investigated further - however, an ER is not the place for that investigation to be done.

What meds are you on?  Did the pain and vomiting begin the same time your cold started or which started first?  Any diarrhea or loose stools?  Have you found anything that makes the pain better or worse (positioning, empty vs full stomach, etc.)?

Start with your regular doctor, however, you may need to see a gastroenterologist - for which you may or may not require a referral from your regular doctor - depending on the gastro doc and your insurance.

How long ago was your Csection and gallbladder surgeries?

Meanwhile, until you can get in to see your doctor, stick with the liquids - push them as much as you are able to tolerate to avoid dehydration.  Ginger ale, water, sports drinks (such as Gatorade), etc., are all good.  Also maybe try things like popsicles or even protein shakes.

When you call yoru doc to make the appointment, be sure to tell them how much weight you've lost and that you are not able to keep any solid food or your medications down.  Knowing this information may make them get you in sooner than they may have otherwise.

I hope you feel better soon - please keep us posted on how you're doing.

thank you so much finally someone listens to me. I always get the look from doctors that all I want is pain meds. Just because I have a bunch of tattoos plus doesn't help that live in Utah. thanks again I do have a colonoscopy on 20th. I will let you know how it goes,

Have you had your appendix checked or removed?  One of the signs of appendicitis actually is if the pain is BETTER when pressure is applied and worse when that pressure is removed.  It is possible (although not very common) to have chronic appendicitis where you get inflammation periodically, but it doesn't go into a full blown acute attack.  My ex husband actually had this and sufered with it for about two years before he finally had an acute attack and had to have emergency surgery to remove his appendicitis.

If they think it's chron's you definitely need to have that colonoscopy - the worst part about them is the prep - the procedure itself is nothing - you won't remember a thing.

but please do follow up with your regular doctor for further evaluation.  This definitely needs to be checked into since you are not able to eat anything solid and not able to keep your medications down.

I hope you feel better soon!

my C-section was 3 years ago
My meds are:
albuterol
klonopin
neurontin'
qvar
zoloft
mentocarbamol
temazepam
And the throwing up was first. Not much diarrhea just for two days.
If I lay on my right side with my knee to my chest its a little better.
I have been told they think it may be crohn's but i need a colonoscopy. But I had one about a year and a half ago. was clean than thats when they took my gallbadder out
