unexplained abdominal pain

unexplained abdominal pain

My 14 yr old daughter has had constant stomach pain, constipation , diarrehea for over 6 weeks. She has had blood work, stool work, an EKG, x-ray and Ultrasound and no cause was found. They are calling it IBS (which I also have) and Functional Abdominal Pain w/heightened sensitivity. She was put on Bentyl, which did not help. Problem is that the pain is worse when sitting in a classroom, and the frequent trips to bathroom and the urge to always have to go have made school intolerable and she now refuses to attend.
We are pretty sure that there IS NOT an issue at school, besides the embarrasment of always having to leave a class.
She has been forbidded to attend afterschool activities and has had her cell phone taken away, but still will NOT attend school. Last night she took her first ELAVIL pill, and this morning shows no improvement.

HELP!!!! I am at my wits end!!! School does not understand and the Doctors just want to wait to see if the ELAVIL works, where do we go from here?
