unusual pain

I have had a liver transplant and all of my labs are good. I am having pain in my middle back that moves to my side and front around the location of the liver.  I can barely lay on my right side and have difficulty turning over on bed.  My transplant coordinator cannot think of a reason for this and suggested a kidney stone.  I feel like the pain is too high for that and my urine tests only found a trace of blood.  She thought I should have some imageing done.  Any thought on this?
