unusual right side pain

For the past few days I have had an unusual pain in the lower right side of my abdomen/lower back. I first thought it was a muscle pull as the pain was only really noticeable when I was bearing weight on my left leg and raising right leg when standing) It feels as though something is being pulled (especially in my lower back).
I have noticed a slight dull ache in my lower abdomen beneath my hip bone but it seems to come and go. Sometimes I feel it when I'm hungry, sometimes after I eat.
I do not have a fever, any type of unusual discharge (vaginal or bowel), any fatigue, nausea, or sharp pains. I have not had a change in appetite. I started my period approximately 12 days ago. Noticed these symptoms about three days after period ended.
The pain does seem to be soothed after sitting in a hot bath for 15 minutes

I was taking penicillin for a week about two weeks ago for a cracked tooth. Also took normal doses of tylenol and advil sporadically for tooth pain over the past two weeks

Any assistance or suggestions for treatment to be sought would be very much appreciated.
