upper abdominal stomach pain

I had a ruptured appendix that was misdiagnosed and I became very septic and nearly died 6 years ago.  A couple of months ago I began to have dull right upper abdominal pain.  I have had an ultra sound of entire area that came back negative and nulcear med. test of gall bladder that also came back negative.  All blood tests were normal and no other symtoms (symptoms).  Have been put on Previcid for the past couple of weeks with out much change.  ANy ideas would be much appreciated.

That sounds just like what I have, but i just latey i had to go get a copy of my medical history and i was reading through them and when I had one of my x-rays done it showed that my appendix was swollen but they never told me this. So i don't know if i should bring that up or not? But the past 6 or 7 months i've been having sharpin cramping of a pain on the upper right abdominal. And i've also had untrasounds, blood test,gallbladder test, and also a HIDA scan done and they all came back negative. I've also been on prevacid doesn't seem to work. I've lost 12 pounds from not eating cause when i do it comes right back up most of the time. Did you have any symptoms before your appendix ruptured?

My symptoms prior to the appendix was a slight fever and slight abdominal pain.  Of course after ruptur it became very problematic with emergecny room 107 fever and the septic.  I had no previous upper abdominal pain or symptoms.  Your symptoms sound similar however i have no nausua associated at this point.  I amy be over reactive due to my previous medical history.  Good luck and let me know what you come up with.
