upper left quadrant pain

My son who is 21 years old has left upper quadrant pain with nausea and vomitting. He has also been constipated for the past 2 days. Could this just be a virus going on at this time. He says he only eate a pizza and rice and beans.

is he a drinker,,,colledge guy?,,,he might be having pacreas problems.
if your not sure,ask him,,,10x more likely to develop pancreas problems from drinking then liver!
if not,,,possible bowel obstruction?...usualy manafests itself on the left side.
