upper left side stomach flutters

My husband had these flutters years ago and took med for a while until they went away. Now they are back and intensified. He has been on 20mg. omeprazole and within the last week dr. put him on 40mg. of same. It doesnt seem to be making a bit of difference. What is it?

From what your husband is taking, I'm assuming your doc feels that he has acid reflux. You need to check with the doc to make sure that's what he believes it to be, and if that's what's going on. Ask him other steps your husband should take including diet and lifestyle changes. However, most PPI med can take 7-14 days or longer to really kick-in and become effective.
