upper right pain

by trazar, Aug 11, 2009 07:08AM
I have a pain on the right side under my rib. I have had the pain for two months. It never goes away but sometimes it is not as sever as other times. I am sick at my stomach all the time but have no vomiting. I feel as though my right side is swollen or has a heavy feel. I recently had a scope procedure for hiatal hernia which showed I do have a small 2-3 cm hernia. I now take a medication for acid reflux. I do not have pain radiating to my back or shoulders. I am really worried what can be wrong. My Father passed from liver cancer a few years ago. My doctor doesn't think there's anything wrong except stress. Please help or suggest what I can do.
Thank you
