B vitamins will not make your urine bright. Vitamin C will. I'm a nutritionist. I also have bowel problems (that are not diet related). I take supplements in the liquid form. I mix them into a glass of soymilk every morning. Personally, I believe that people with digestive problems, and the ederly, should drink their vitamins. There are 2 different supplements men need to take, and 3 women need to take each day. That's all. If you would like to know which ones let me know and I'll tell you. Also let me know if you'd like to know the brands I use and where you can order them from. I order mine because the places where I order them from sell them a little cheaper than the health food stores do. Good luck!
