RUQ, pale stools, weight loss, onset after chiodbirth - this all speaks for gallbladder - possibly stones. Ultrasound will show this, yes. In some cases, gall stones dissapear in some time after pregnancy - ask your doctor about this.
my symptoms are RUQ pain for the past 11 months. It started after I had my baby last January. Stools have become lighter than usual and over the past 2 weeks more frequent. My primary care physician has ruled out a number of things. I actually saw her today and she is sending me for an ultrasound of the RUQ.
I have lost 11 pounds since October, they were not sure what was wrong and after serval test I had another HIDA SCAN which my ejection fraction went from 77% to 40% I have alot of naseua and acid in my stomach and it is tender on my right side I have no stones but I am scheduled to have it removed in a few weeks.
I haven't.
It can be from bile stones, which block the flow of the bile in the bowel - in this case fats can't be digested, so they are lost with the stool.
But...have you any diagnosis, what are your symptoms? Have you pale stool and diarrhea?
