weight loss

I have to take steroids from time to time due to Lupus flairups. I have been off of the steroids for a long time now and no matter what I try can't lose the weight I had gained while on them. I've been to ww's, had my Dr. put me on diet and nothing is working It is really getting to me. I got this add in the mail about a product called Micro-cal and apparently it is all natural the main ingredient in it is navy bean. They discovered the navy bean causes weight loss when a field of cows eating navy bean plants were losing weight instead of putting on the beef. Any how I guess I can take a lesson from these weight loss cows, having been called one most of my life and go on this microcal diet. Has anyone else tried this???I need to lose weight badly and have tried almost every method out there with little or no success. I have trouble exercising because of joint problems- I'm currently in aqua fit classes, but nothing is doing it.

I am having to lose weight desparately due to a neurological condition that is threatining my eyesight and my DR. put me on this medicine called Topomax (topamax) and since Jan. 1st I have gone from 280 to 231 and still losing and I cannot excercise very vigurously either.  I mean you still have to try but I just walk 20 minutes a day up and down my street and a regular pace and on the days that I dont feel up too I don't but that medicine has been a godsend.  It is a anti-convulsant actually not a weightloss drug so most medical plans will cover it which is great becuase it is very expensive when you start taking very high doses of it like I do but you don't have to take high doses to lose weight on it.  I take it for medicinal purposes as well.
But anyway  I have another friend that took it for weightloss and loss 110 pounds in 1 year.  It severely makes you lose your appetite and also makes everything taste nasty so you don't want to eat.  It's wonderful, Im telling you.  I tried every kind og diet pill, Ionimin, adapex, phen phen (when it was still on the market), metabolife, etc., Nothing worked but this has worked, wonders.  It does have some side affects, but they go away after the first month, if you can bear with it until then.  Look it up on the web and then talk to your doctor if your interested and see what he says about it.  Hope that helps.  I do nothing but sing that medicines prasies.  Good Luck.
