Does this cause the feeling of not breathing well? Actually, the more I think of it, I am breathing. It just feels like something is pushing on the wind pipe like maybe the esophagus. When I inhale, I get e weird feeling of almost pain all the way down into stomoch. I have been suggested of GERG and on previcid for 3 months. Still have the breathing feeling though. Any advice? Should I be taking something else to help with this feeling. The previcid seems to work for the heartburn and soure stomoch but this "breathing" thing persists.

you may very well have gerd ,but if you still have the pain and you are taking your medication correctly i would ask your doctor to run a upper scope to make sure gerd is all you have .some time other problems are missed because of acid reflux disease . if they do not want to run test to rule out other more serious health problems i would seek the advice of another a digestive specialest second opion is always in order when questions are left unanswered.not to mention if this doctor knows gerd then he or she knows it can dammage the esophagus such as wearing the lining away and can also cause other digestive problems. good luck and god bless.
