what food is good for me?

by serf, Jun 23, 2008 08:41AM
I dont have cancer yet but am concerned about getting it. I have trouble eating or drinking. and it just stays up in my esophogus and many times i literally have to throw it up to get relief. Also, i get chest pains and need to belch but cant and drinking ginger ale seems to help. I have read that carbonated drinks are not good but ginger ale relieves the pain by making me belch. Strangely enough water seems to give me the most problem. I am concerned that throwing up so much will eventially lead to cancer. Any suggestions would be greatly appeciated. Thank you,    Serf

If belching brings you relief, that means you are bloated? Have a breath test for H. pylori.

I guess it's a burping day today. Burp...ooops.

This is a little comment that you can try that may relieve burping. Try mixing 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with water and drink it 3 times a day. It is pure sodium so if you are sensitive to sodium then stop usage and cosume more potassium rich foods. Baking soda also alkalines the body's ph which will bring down the acidity of the body for a short while.

I hope it helps otherwise definately see a doctor. I personally reccomend natural doctors like naturopaths but that is me. My naturopath taught me the baking soda trick to alkaline the body's ph.

Good Luck
