white lumps in stool

i have no idea what causes this but for the past 2 weeks ive noticed a bunch of bean size white lumps in my stool...what causes this? i also have stomach bloating often.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Please be patient for people to reply, we are all people just like you who know about GI issues and are responding in our spare time.  Are you currently on any medications or have you changed your diet recently?

no im not...i have lots of bloating often though and sometimes take a laxative for constipation. but this started well after all of that.

Okay, it could be a bunch of different things but it would be best to get this problem checked out by a doctor if it continues.  Good luck.

i am fairly sure it is tapeworm. it looks just like the segments of tapeworm i see on the internet.
i saw a doctor today and he said he thinks it is pinworm although he didn't examine the segments, just went based on what i said. he asked if they were very small and i said kind of.
i should have been more specific. but i brought a stool sample with me and they sent it to the lab.
do tapeworm segments in poop look like pumpkin seeds/beans?

Yes tapeworm segments can look like white beans but it is unlikely you have a tapeworm just because it is pretty rare.  It is more likely a pinworm but a stool sample will tell you what it is.

idk..i dont have the itching at night or anything like that. the segments are nothing like pinworm, much bigger. but we will see i'll post the results when i get them.
