why do I still have heartburn after Laparoscopikc Nissen Fundoplication?
Two weeks today since surgery and I'm still having heartburn.  Is it too early to call it a failure?  I can eat anything just smaller amounts but i've very carfefull not to eat anything i think will cause it.  my surgeon didn/t seemed concerned.Just said sometime it works and sometime it don't.  we will xray at 6 weeks.  from everything i've read, it sounds like he got the wrap too loose. Has anyone had it done the 2nd time.would it be more dangerouse to do it again if he suggest.  i am taking nexium.  i get sick to my stomach.i think it may be something i eat. i think heartburn is a lot worse if I wear something without elelastic in waist too.
