I have recently experienced dull aching "pain" ....under my left ribs...toward the center of the soft place between both of the rib cages. When I slightly push up and under the ribs at that area....I seem to hit the place that is causing the problem. Sometimes with the ache....I also experience aching above the elbow and on up into the shoulder area. This is usually after I have eaten. I can sometimes release the aching by burping. My doctor seems to think it is in the bowel area. I do not. I would like some suggestions as to what my problem may be. I do have a small hiatal hernia.
I have also been treated for the h.pylori bacteria. Was told that once you had that....it would always be in your system....but would lay dormant....until something may cause it to flare up.
I have not been tested again for that.
