yellow palms

I have recently noticed that my fingernails were yellow around the cuticle and base, and now, I just noticed my palms are yellow as well. What could cause my hands to turn yellow.

This discussion is related to yellow areas on hands.

If you're eating an excessive amount of foods with beta carotene that could be a cause. It can also be due to conditions such as diabetes. You may want to check with your doc.
