10+ years of Pelvic pain & no answers

For over 10 years I have had sharp cramping on the lower right side of my pelvis.  This is also associated with heavy periods & infertility.

Everybody I've talked to wants to put me on progesterone treatments to regulate out the bleeding.  They feel that there is a estrogen-progesterone imbalance.  And once that evens out, the pelvic pain will no longer be there.  

I've had bloodwork done to test progesterone levels.  1 showed I didn't ovulate & 2 months later I did ovulate but there was no difference in the pelvic pain.

A subscerol fibroid just a little smaller than a golf ball has also been found.  

Could the 2 be linked?  Is there any way to get rid of the pain?  I'm stuck at home for the first half of my cycle every month because of the pain & I'm starting to get it when I'm not menstrating also.
