7 weeks but no hb

7 weeks but no hb

Hi everybody,

This is a nice day out there with lots of sunshine but I am feeling so depressed in side that I had to come here to share that with you. I am 7 weeks pregnant with all kinds of pregnancy symptoms except nausea. I went to my doc on tuesday and had an US where he showed me the pregnancy sack but no heartbeat. Is it normal? He asked me to go back in one week again. Am I going to be the lucky one after waiting 4 years to be a mom? Please suggest. I am 34 yrs old and I am very afraid as I dreamed a lot for this baby. Thanks to all of you and god bless you.

Hi,

Try not to give up hope just yet.  7 weeks is very early to hear a heart beat.  I'm sure once you go back they will find it.  I had a friend who had a sonogram at 8 weeks and they couldn't find the heart beat and 7 months later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!  I wish you the best!

Thank you so much......you boosted my energy level. I think your blessings wroked out for me. I went to see doctor yesterday and he saw the hb but still told me I might lose the baby due to the slow growth of the fetus. I don't know how to react on this! I just want to be happy but his comments makes me terribly nervous.

Thanks again for cheering me up.

I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and they couldnt see a heartbeat at my scan.. They have told me ill miscarry anywhere in the next two weeks and i just have to wait now.  I just hope im going to be one of the luck people that at my next scan in a weeks time a heartbeat is detected.  Im so pleased they found your heartbeat and i do hope it all goes well from now for you, would be good to know, so keep us posted :)

You wanted to know the outcome of my pregnancy, so here it is. I lost the baby on last thursday....yes, doctor was right, I miscarried. That' s the most horrible experience I ever had...but doctor asked me not to worry at all as that can affect my next pregnancy. I believe in god and I have faith that he will not disappoint me next time.

However, I wish you all the best. Take care-
