Acetaminophen/Ibuprofen simultaneously?

Can a person take acetaminophen and ibuprofen at the same time?

Yes, I have not heard of any contra-indications on taking them together. Just take them as directed, and, if you want, ask the pharmacist to make sure.

Yes, you can.  I agree with caregiver222; take with food and as DIRECTED.

They can, preferably with food.

You have to be careful about using too much because both medications can be hard on the liver if over-used. Follow your physician's instructions as to dose.

I do.

I was told by a doctor that because they are two totally different medications, they can be taken at the same time. I usually stagger it with my kids.. at least 15 - 30 minutes.. but I have had no ill effects from doing so.
