Adhesive removal on wound

I skinned and cut open my knee yesterday. I was at a place with no bandaids or ointment so I had to improvise. I washed the 1in. area with soap and water, then cut a 1 inch square from a pantyliner, covered the wound with it, and used bandage tape to adhere it.
Today (the day after the incident), I tried to remove the pad but it will not come off. I let the hot water from the shower run for 15min on it but it did nothing.
I have since soaked the bandage with a hot, oily water compress for hours, and even tried repeated attempts of rubbing alcohol soaks (abt 2Tbs) over the last hour while pulling at the same time.Even a milimeter of movement causes exteme pain to where I'm crying and shaking.
Nothing has loosened the adhesive from the pad.
What do I do? It is a dime size area. Should I just rip it off? Skin is coming with it if I do.
Pleae help.

hmmm, my guess is that the wound scabbed to the bandage, if u remove it u would be removing the scab. i do not know how to fix this except wait for the scab to separate from the wound when it is healed. however the wound needs to breathe so....

due to the nature of a pad being an adhesive made for material and not skin their may have bin a fusing. i myself do strapping and taping of injuries and use high adhesive tape and this tape if in direct contact with skin can rip it off.

u must be carefull what applying as although they may not be breaking the adhesive the pad itself may absorb it and eventually place it on the open wound possibly causing milder but more damage.

if u want to remove it then best soaking it with soapy water for 15 mins and then removing it fast. this still may remove the skin but it shouldnt remove too many layers to the point of seeking medical advice.do have a gauss pad incase ( something to absorb the blood but not adhesive) then obviously a large plaster ( depending on size and amount of bleed after using gauss.
