I have been to a GP, Allergist, Ear/Nose/Throat and Pulmonologist for coughing and wheezing. I have been told by all of them this is reflux. I have been taking Nexium for about 30 days and it has helped the coughing and wheezing. However, I will ocassionally have "bouts" of coughing and wheezing. Could I possibly be allergic to wheat? or margarine? or some type of food that would make me have these symptoms? I will sometimes cough and wheeze while exercising (walking). I'm just really confused with this. My symptoms do not seems to be consistent. I have no symptoms of reflux - I'm told it's silent reflux.
Any ideas what my problem could be?
