Anemia

If somebody is anemic,  how bad can this condition get and are there any cures for it?

I read somewhere in an article that people with anemia are likely to get cancer because of their low blood count. Is there any truth to this?

Well, you can die from uncontrolled progressive anemia. It doesn't get any worse than that.

If you seek medical attention and pay attention to your physician there is little liklihood of this end.

Anemia, however,  is a meaningless term. The question to ask is what is the mechanism or cause of the anemia, and that is a job for your physician.

Some varieties can be controlled by something as simple as diet and others present greater difficulties.

As for the relationship between anemia and malignancies I have never seen any literature on that subject.
