Annoyed!!!!

Annoyed!!!!

I am 19 and for years I have been constantly getting (like 6 times a year) really huge lumps under my armpits. Thye turn red and purple and painful. All the doctors ever do is give antibiotics or cream then send you on your way. Which does not stop them from returning. My mother and sister also get the same things. We all live together but were told that they were not infectious like that. Sometimes, they are more on my side and others they are more on my inner arm, but always under my arm there. I have so many huge scars there now. Nobody seems to be able to tell us how and why we are getting these lumps filled with puss. It is rather frustrating. Can you explain? It can't be cancer or anything because we have all had them for years. And what is the liklihood of us all having cancer?

Hi,

Have you or other family members which have this problem been seen by a dermatologist ? If not you should go that route. It sounds like lymph nodes and I believe this is why you are receiving the meds you mention. But re-ocurring as you say is odd.
