Are you always Anemic???

Are you always Anemic???

I was diagnosed as being anemic some years ago and started taking over the counter iron pills. Since then I started feeling better and was retested and now my iron count is fine so I stopped taking the pills. My friends that are anemic tell me that I am always anemic and should still continue to take the iron pills once or twice a week.

I was just wondering is the advice of my co workers, true?

This discussion is related to long term anemia.

True and the physician needs to continue to monitor your counts too.
Has the physician been able to pinpoint a reason for your anemia?
