BIAXIN SIDE EFFECTS

I have been taking Biaxin for 5 days and have experienced the worst side effects i have ever had in my life! Nausea, headache, depression, crying outbursts, metallic taste, and wanting to sleep all day are the main ones. I have never felt depressed like this in my life. A feeling of sadness has taken over my body the past 5 days and it is miserable. Can somebody tell me why?? I stopped taking it today because I have had enough, I want my life back.

That can happen when taking Biaxin; side effects.  Unfortunately, we are just prescribed medications without or little information about the side effects.  I would let your physician know what happened.   Give it about a 7-10 days for the side effects to wear off.  If you experience more side effects, especially life threatning, you will need to seek medical attention asap.

Remember, always read about a medication prior to taking it or ask your physician and/or the pharmacy about the medication.

Is Biaxon an antibiotic? Whatever med it is you can ask your pharmacist about the side effects. You can also see your Dr about taking another med if you need it. I hope you feel better. Take care. Remar
