Blood test gone wrong

I had a blood test and the nurse stabbed me three times because she couldn't "find my vein".
The next morning my arm was badly bruised. Is there anything to worry about? Should I go back to the hospital to complain about this?

It happens to me A LOT.  I bruise easily and have veins that "roll".
You probably got a newbie..you could complain if it helps.
Next time that happens--wrap your arm tightly--not too tight--but snug--it will keep the bruise from becoming so large.
I feel your pain just looking at that photo.

Hope it gets to feeling better soon.

By the way, I have one vein that always works--and I demand that blood be taken from it--and it only.  That way--I have no one digging around for my veins.

One smart-alecky nurse said "Well, that vein is going to blow if you keep using it."

Whatever.

I've been using it for ten years and there is a freckle that leads the way to the spot.
