Blood test

I am a 51 year old healthy woman. I work out & eat right. I have never had an abnormal blood test but this time it seems like so much is out of range. All of these are out of range, (some by a lot).  WBC 3.5, Segmented Neutrpphils 39, Lymphocytes 50, Absolute Neutrophil 1.4, Alkaline Phosphatase 36, NMR Lipoprofile w/lipids 1671, B12 is at 1621. My HDL is normal range 96, my HDL also normal range 84. What can all of this mean?

I will let you know about the blood tests, and I will be looking for someone to do the next surgery using the MoHs process.  Thank you again, I truly do appreciate everything you have shared with me.

Hi and sorry I didn't want to scare you about maybe having Hepatitis or liver or kidney problems. It is good to retake the tests. I think you would have more symptoms if you had hepatitis. BUt it is good to check and do a BUN/ Creatine for the kidneys. Do you have a place that does MoHs surgery for skin cancer? They can get all the cells in one day because they have you stay there while the pathologist looks at the cells and then they take a little more tissue if you still have cells and so forth until it is gone. Check around to see if they do that there where you live. We have it here in San Diego. You can get Hepatitis from drug use (which you don't do) and also sex but to a much lesser ability to get it and of course a transfusion. But they supposedly do screen now so it may not be as likely anymore. Good luck with your next blood test. It is hard to know if the results are yours now, what a mess. That was a pretty big mistake by someone there. Let me know what you find out.

My doctor left me a message saying my bloodwork was perfect. It wasn't until I went to get a copy that I found this out. So I finally got ahold of her nurse and she said the doctor said we would just retake the texts in 6-12 months. That's not good enough for me. No I don't drink. I drank a little bit like 2 drinks on the weekend when I was in my 20's. Never really liked drinking so it was never an issue.  The only other issue is very tired.  I do have an appointment with a new doctor on Monday. I thank you so much for any educated guesses. The only other thing is I did have some basal cell removed from my face and the pathology report just came back saying there is still cells in there they didn't get. Thanks again.

Hi and sorry you are having this problem. The first thing I would check is Hepatitis especially Hep C but I would check for B as well. The liver enzyme is high, the WBC count low and neutrophils (indicate a possible viral infetion) the B12 could be liver and kidney problem or too much B12 intake (vitamins). The liver also controls the lipids. I would say possible cirrhosis of liver or Hepatitis are possible. We are not doctors but I'm giving you my best educated guess. Small chance of a tumor called seminoma which is very very treatable. Did you discuss these results with the doctor that tested for them? Do you drink alcohol? It may turn out negative but you need to follow up soon. Do you have any symptoms such as being tired, nausea, yellow whites of the eye?
hope this helps,
