Bump on forehead

My 4-year-old son was playing at preschool in the gym where he fell and slammed his forehead on the floor.  He sustained 2 very large goose eggs on his forehead.  He did cry immediately and I observed him for the next couple of days and he seems to be at his baseline health.  My question is, this occurred 11 days ago and he still has a bump on his forehead that is tender to touch.  Is this something to be concerned about given the amount of time that has passed and the bump is still present?

Perhaps as it was a nasty fall the school could have taken him to get it checked out however as he had no concussion, and 11 days later I would expect you would know, it could be a nasty bruise, I would take him to your Doctor and ask what he thinks.
